Busted a$$ headlight bucket

So I went for a ride to the insurance man's office to turn in my daughter's information regarding her first wreck, and when I pulled back into my garage I notice something wrong with my bike.

Didn't notice a big bump or pothole, just saw it after I got off the bike :'(

So now I'm obviously in the market to replace my headlight. Looking for suggestions/recommendations that will get me into a metal bucket.

I like that headlight too, but wanted a chrome version. Only find that size in black. Sad

From ToesNose other post, I think he got one of those in chrome, so I keep looking - fun hunting around on their website too Wink

Thanks for the installed pics. The black looks good on your bike, as mentioned before, I still can't decide since I can't find that one in chrome. I really like the size of the light directly head on, but wonder would it be possible to install the bucket back slightly in between the forks more? Not sure if I like how it's stretching out there so far. Undecided

I might see about mounting it from the top tree like ToesNose did.

I'm just too indecisive Undecided

I decided to go ahead with the large black one...now I'm just waiting for it to come in next week. Too bad we have SNOW in the forecast for Monday.
