Blue job and similar are a waste of money, just paint it or wrap it. Or both, paint, wrap, then more paint.
It's just notice that your machine is ridden instead of trailered close to Hooters and then coasted in to be power parked on bike nights. Why, yes, I DO realize that I'm a sanctimonious a$$hole...
So much truth in that.
Well, not really, but it is pretty funny and well, yeah, truthful. I see some bikes that look showroom new and wonder to myself just how much riding is being done on them, then I see my little thumper and think about how many miles it has on it (which isn't all that many) over how many years, and look at the miles I'm now racking up quickly and figure the bike was built to be ridden. It is going to age and show wear and tear, and there's not much I can do about it.
While I am slowly but surely pretty well restoring this bike, I'm also doing so knowing that I'm gonna ride it. Parts are going to wear out and it is not ever gonna look showroom new again. But, it will certainly be ridden and will get me where I'm going.
