Routy Forward Controls Instructions
09/12/13 at 16:19:30

I wonder if anyone here has installed the Routy Forward controls and still has their installation instructions.  I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I bought an unfinished set from Rich, dropped them off at a chrome plating shop, and have managed to misfile the install instructions into a package that shipped back to my house in California.  D'oh!

I'm getting the FCs installed tomorrow so that I can ride my bike back to CA from CO where I am now.  So I'm hoping someone else with the install instructions sees this and can PM me a copy?

I've emailed Routy as well but just in case he doesn't see his email until later, I thought I'd try here too.

fingers crossed!

If you can't get a response here, contact Routy... I'm sure he'd be willing to help you out...

I've done that, Serowbot.  Thanks.  I haven't heard from him yet but perhaps he doesn't have orders or stock right now so he's not on his email every day.

I might still have them and could scan them if I do.
DO you still need them?

In case it would help anyone I took the liberty to add some clarification to his instructions when I installed mine, and sent it over to Routy in case he wanted to use them.

Thanks guys.  Rich got back to me.  He had been away for a few days and was a great help once he was back on the email.  My Forward Controls are installed now and I LOVE them.  If anyone is considering these, it makes the bike an absolutely joy to ride.

I had mine chrome plated too, which I think looks pretty badass.

Those look pretty sweet in chrome... is there any reason you didn't mount the heat shield in the "modified" location on the forwards?

Nope it was just an oversight.  I moved it there this morning, actually.
