Justin,
the bezel insert is a solid billet build. It started as a 6" round disk about 1.25" thick. Bolted down to a rotary table with a precision cross slide on a manual mill. 4 hrs later I have the piece with the oval outside and mating step and the odd shaped pocket to fit the vapor. It was all done on a manual mill - no CNC at all.

then about an hour of polishing for the high shine.

So here are some close ups. Here is the dash before finishing. You can see more of the detail of it.

and if that wasn't enough take a look closely at the bike and look at the exhaust header clamp. That was a bit of custom work out of a solid piece of aluminum.

Machined to form, sanded to final shape, and then sand blasted all so it would look like a cast piece.

And I Did work in a machine shop. I stunk the place up, but I Can sharpen a drill bit.
