Hard tail
08/25/13 at 17:01:19
So the frame I have is a 96 savage.....I bought it hardtailed already......I recently tore the bike down to see what I have.....When looking at the back of the bike I noticed where the swing comes off of the frame the drive side sits out farther then the brake side.... is this how all savages are or did someone just do a bang up job on the tail. wheel looks center with the seat and front tire but on brake side is closer to the frame then the drive side. is this normal to have a noticible offset

Unfortunately, that's normal. Huge offset to compensate for the belt drive. Hanging the license plate vertically on the left helps hide some of the
factor...

I am going to go with Voodoo Vintage for my frame... awesome alternative....a lot more room, clean, and stretched!
