Yeah, I just did it to get some good pics of the bike. I washed it off afterwards.

Ride gently for a while.  You may have washed away the sheen, but there's plenty of slippery stuff there.  AND, now you've likely washed it into the center of the tread.  Good luck, and be safe.

On the other hand, your muffler looks great!

Ditch the heat shield if you can scare up a spare Harley one.

Silicone on the tire? No problem... park your truck in the grass, place front tire of running mc against the truck's tire. Get the rear tire up to roughly 15 mph on the grass, when it starts really steaming, you're good to go. Cooks the silicone and the grass/dirt wipes the dried remnants mostly off. I usually dig it in close to 2 inches, never had a problem from mold release or tire dressing that way.

Go find a large empty parking lot, paved with old gray asphalt (not shiny black new stuff) or rough-surface concrete.

Ride around at about 15 mph in a gentle circle (not leaning over very much) five times to the left, then five times to the right.

Do all that again leaning over a little further.  If you keep it at 15 mph, the circles will be smaller.

Do it all again, leaning over far enough to occasionally scrape the pegs.

Any coating on your tires will have been scuffed off.

I have the stock exhaust from my 2013 Fat Boy.  Is there any difference between the stock Ls650 exhaust sound and the Fat Boy exhaust?  My Fat Bot exhausts have the CAT. in them so I would assume it is fairly quiet.
