I'm not quite happy with the stock handlebars. I like the dragbar look and the wideness would probably suit me better. Are things like risers and controls and stuff pretty much generic as long as they fit the diameter of the bar used?

I assume you have a pre drag bar ls650. Any one inch bar will fit, but if you don't have drag bars now you will need longer risers as well. Suzuki LS 650 drag bars are drilled for the switch boxes, but it us easy to grind the locating pins from the boxes to fit on any 1" bar.
