Alternator Rotor Revmoval

Newbie here.

I've recently chewed about 20 teeth off my clutch set gear or (starter driven gear) and have no idea how to remove the alternator rotor to install the replacement gear.. do I need a rotor puller? The Clymer repair manual is not helping and I can't seem to find the solution on any back threads.

Any help would be appreciated   Undecided

Looks like more than that.Looks like you broke the case where the pin for the driven gears goes.

And yes you need a puller.About 60-70 bucks.
