Exhaust questions!!
06/19/13 at 09:43:47

Hello all! Just bought my first ever road bike, an '87 Savage! I have been browsing the forums for a couple of days now, a lot of good tips!! On my bike, the previous owner chopped the muffler down a few inches and welded it to the pipe... It is ungodly loud and I need to do something to quiet it down. I've been looking for a stock exhaust online, but can't sink a ton of money into it at the moment. Got any tips?

Cut off the existing loud muffler, then weld on a DYNA muffler if you can't get it to clamp on correctly.

Go to the Technical Page and look in the DYNA muffler secttion to see what Harley muffler works best.

That sounds "exhausting".
