Raydawg listen to JFK's last speech. Its on You tube. He was going after some people and institutions that needed eliminating. I think one of them was the Federal Reserve. He was no angel, he loved the women but in his heart I believe he wanted what was best for the American people and the rest of the world.

Was it true he was going to get us out of Vietnam, etc, and was working on it to be implemented upon his return to DC too?

Rand Paul wants to do away with the Patriot Act. That's one reason he's probably gonna get my vote. He doesn't believe in internet and phone spying. The land of the free is being destroyed by George Bush and Obama. Obama's drones should be illegal in the US.

They are, but, just as "They" dont follow the law on drivers licenses & they
TEACH that "driving is a privilege". Of course, every teacher, talking head on TV & politician says we live in " A Greeaat Dumbokruseee"..

Indoctrination,,

2014 all cars produced will have to have a black box on them. Some 2013 models have them now. Now its the goverment's business to know where I go and what I do all day. Wonder whats more cost effective, the drones or the black boxes.

My cousin bought a new Wrangler.
He asked the guy where the black box was.
Salesman denied knowing about it.
He said he pushed harder and the salesman admitted it was in the seat.

Recaro's are more comfortable anyway.

IIRC, there's a scene in "2Fast2Furious" where they taze a getaway car.

Natch, it's the hero's car but we're all happy because we then learn he's the good guy, right?

Wrong.

The only car the Police would never be able to taze is a car whose engine is carb fed and ignited by points&condenser.

Enter Toretto - aka Vin Diesel. HE would get my vote.  Wink

Or Steve McQueen... or Clint Eastwood... if you know what I mean...  Wink

Need I say more ?  Wink

They use fancy electronics in the 6th installment giving the cast an excuse to switch up to American muscle...
but after they make the switch they never address it again. Seemed too open ended for me.

IIRC there was a rolling EMP design. It was like a creeper that was meant to be lowered via steel cable and you troll it out underneath the car you want to disable. Not sure how far that ever went. Seems unrealistic to me... nothing a left or right turn couldn't evade.

I argued this with some locals.
Have a special number, close to 911.
Call it 511.
You dial that number and your phone gets through for legitimate emergencies. Otherwise you get billed like $20 a minute to make your call.
It's not a perfect idea but neither is $100 dollars a bullet.

This used to be there - late 90's if I recall.
However when are you talking about using it ? When driving ?
Cool.

Yea. I forgot to qualify that.
While driving.
While traveling in excess of... 25 mph?

Wife is pregnant? Speed, call the hospital (Hell, have the operator put you through. You can't dial, you're driving!), full refund.

Someone driving aggressively and following you? Call. Full refund.

On the way home and don't know if you need to pick up milk? Call, get billed $20 a minute while your wife goes "Hrm.. do we need milk... hrmmm... well if I make this then I will only use a cup... but if I don't then we'll have left over milk... so I can make pancakes on the weekend..."
100 dollars later you know to pick up only a half gallon.

Well we used to have it ... wasn't even that $$$, like $2 a min. No one used it even then. This of course can be implemented with a flag on your bill. You can be warned a few months and break your habit.

But what if you're the pasenger ? I actually dont care if no one in the car can text or call while moving. You're not that important so STFU and talk to your co passengers. Busses and trains and whatever ... small minority.

Remember when text used to be free but calls cost $. I cant see that as safer ... text oughta be really really $$$$ while moving ...

Its likely to find stiff opposition ... more screams of big brother etc etc etc. But screw that, make it happen ...

Cool.
