Here is some pics of the mid controls and the brake replacement. The original shoes didn't liked the trackday.

I want to replace the mid controls due to problems with chain clearens.
And I don't like the look of the oem stuff. I welded mounts in the frame that I will use in the new design.

Memphis area? Only for Harleys and European bikes. And even then it is a crap shoot.

Being 6'3" and an former factory pro motocrosser, (just kidding about the factory pro stuff! ) I'm very interested in your mid controls.  You mentioned that you may fashion a bracket based on the Ryca mount.  Are you going to used rearsets then?  Or will it still be more of a mid control?

Also What size tires are you using?

Thanks,

Tim

Love your bike!

I was drooling over the ryca (I think) scrambler kit. Cost way too much $$$ for this guy though.

Agreed, one of the sweetest custom Savages I've ever seen! This should be added to the wonderful Bike Builds sticky.

Is there anyone who can update that sticky?  It's a great thread, but a bunch of good bikes aren't on it.  Very hard to track them down otherwise.
