Use 32 psi for starters.  Go for an aggressive ride in the twisties.  Start varying the pressure in three psi increments on the front tire.  It won't take long till you notice a diff.  Better traction but mushier as the pressure gets lower.  Then do it all over again for the rear.  After a while you'll find the best mix of traction and handling. The best pressure for tire longevity will be at least a few psi higher than best grip. The pressure on the sidewall is irrelevant.
