Don't see how it would be possible with the Savage Engines since the Tranny is built into the engine. you would need Motorcycle engines that have a separate tranny from the engine to be able to pull this off and make it work properly

yeah I know,  I just don't see how that's gonna work out, unless the engines have had mods done to them to eliminate the tranny and clutch system then a divorced tranny is used.  Otherwise you would have some interesting shifting issues and sync issues between the 2 engines.

It's hard enough to tune multiple engines to work together properly but to add in 2 trannies to drive 1 wheel,  that's not something I would want to even try to tackle

The link gives a little info. Apparently clutch operates rear motor only.

Looks like it was also built for static show only,  with that last pic you posted, the middle stand that's keeping it upright is solid welded to the frame with no joints to fold it up or remove it.

I can see that it might work like that but can the one clutch actually hold the power of 2 engines???  who knows.  I think this was just a concept build just to make a static display out of spare parts.

Russ Collins built a top fuel drag bike back in 1973 using 3 Honda 750 engines called the Atchison, Topeka, & the Santa Fe. I saw it run at Bowling Green, Ky. that year when I rode up with a group from Jackson, Tn. Sonny Routt had a twin engine Triumph & T.C.Christenson a twin engine Norton.
Somewhere on my old computer I had a picture of a triple engine RD350. The front two engines had the cases cut to eliminate the transmissions. Cool

I was at Beech Bend drag way that year. But I was there from 1971 through 1976. That was a big three day event. The last year there were 30,000 bikers there and there several people killed. (not on the strip)

I remember Joe Smith and TC Christenson. Those were the days. I rode a Harley back then.

As long as you have a way to make solid shifts, and a Y on the clutch cable, you can run them both and just have a second sprocket to chain them together.  And you are right about the sync being more complex, but not much more than 4 carbs on one engine.
