Sissy Bar Question
04/13/13 at 13:57:43
I recently installed saddle bag supports which I managed to do without having to take off the wheel, as one of the bolts you need to install is well up inside the rear fender. So, if I decide to add a sissy bar, does the OEM kit include those side rails, which means I would first have to first uninstall the bag supports I just installed??

Great, I guess that means no sissy bar as I don't want to reinstall that bolt inside the fender by hand again!!

Its not that big of a deal. I've had mine on and off several times. I've never had a problem getting the bolts in and out with the tire in there. I have small hands though.
And I've got a much longer bolt in the front top because of the saddle bag mounts I fabricated,

No worries, the OEM version is too expensive, I shall have to at least wait until I can find something less expensive, or read that as "cheaper".

Keep an eye out in the market place. Lots of guys are doing Ryca conversions or bobber builds and have them laying around.
