Just putting on 'paper' about my progress on the bike mods. Been having a starvation issue, read alot of the posts (thanks for posting btw!) more or less agreed with what I thought. Some time back I pulled the oem petcock for a raptor, replaced the mix screw (oem got chewed up removing plug) along with a few screws, etc, gutted the airbox and added cone filters. Wasn't getting enough gas, so I finally ordered a new pilot-55 and main-150 jets to see if that solves the feeding issue.
I pulled the airbox out today, once I get things rerouted and the carb back on I'll be that much closer to being done. I'll just have seat (springer), bobbed fender and paint (flat black) to go (I hope). Yay.
