Yep, but it wasn't all of our fault. Some of the blame lies w/ the Quappy (I just love that handle) chargers that we were forced to use.
I mean, it was hard to win in those days,.....either we killed them from not charging, or we killed them w/ the Quappy chargers that would fry them dry in a short time !

Thanks for the info.

Never use a vessel made of any other material. Im pretty sure the container that I last got with a battery was plastic.

Although the info in that battery book is good stuff, one must keep in mind that said book was first published in 1922.......

The basic laws of physics and chemistry haven't changed, however!

My uncle has a Booster Charger with a timer....and he has always charged his vintage cars that in storage on the high setting. I new it was wrong....I finally have something in writing I can give him that explains why.
