There is another Suzuki one, I think about 8 inch which apparently bolts straight in.

You want brighter, put in a Sylvania silver star bulb for <$30.

You want bigger, be aware it might NOT be brigher and it might draw more current to boot.  Depends on what you actually buy, of course.

Thankyou.  I did steal it -- it was $10 plus $10 shipping from e-bay.  The seller called it a Hot Rod headlight, only one.  Since only one, no one wanted it.  It was actually a 7" bottom mount headlight for a Harley, selling for about $200 new.  Picture of mine and verslagen's, and the mount:

The mount was four pieces of 1" x 1.5" x .125" aluminum angle, eight small nuts and bolts on the sides, drilled down for the stock mount, drilled one up for the headlight.  Simple, cheap, worked just fine.

A Model-B headlight bucket is a 8", available aftermarket with an H4 lamp.  I think the Model-9" was bigger, but shallow front to back and is ugly.

you can set the Faro from Suzuki Desperado(marauder). it was a little larger in size and is installed without the hassle.

yeah I think it's from the marauder.  I just don't like the plastic base to it.

I used to swear by those silver-stars until I got sick of them blowing out every 3-4 months.

I have owned cars that have the same headlight bulbs as long as I owned them.  I put Silverstars in my wife's VW a few years after we bought it and they lasted 9 months.....so I put the stock ones back in....and they lasted 9 years.  I would like to get a brighter bulb - but when you go to the really bright stuff the life does drop significantly.
