Reevu helmet with rear view system

I saw this on Tech Toys 360 recently.  I wonder if it works very well.  If it does, I'm reducing the two big dorky looking mirrors on my RYCA, to one tiny little 1" diam black mirror just to be legal.

I'm normally a cheapskate but I'm thinking of ponying up some cash for one of these.
Very very good idea.

Yea I saw them on a British based program last summer, one of the guys testing it said it was a bit distracting for him. I think it's a way cool idea and wouldn't mind testing one out though   Cheesy

I've seen several "road tests" and all of the folks that said it was distracting, said after they got used to it, the distracting feeling went away, and they started depending on it.

One guy said it took a few days of riding for him to get used to it, and afterwards, any time he put on a normal helmet it was REALLY REALLY distracting not having the ability to see behind him anymore.

Why not just strap a go-pro camera to the back of your helmet connected to some google glasses ?  Errr wait, way more expensive.    Roll Eyes

So....I suppose having a rider isn't going to work anymore.....unless you really need to keep an eye on them!

and?

They work?...  Huh...

On roads around here,... my giant, head, pogo's like a bobble head...
I can't imagine my rearview doing the same...
... not to mention, swivel, side checks, and look backs...
I need my "rearview", to stay to the rear...
Freaks me out, just to think about it... Grin...

Nobody that's ever seen me,.. would suggest that I pay $500 for a helmet that makes my head look the slightest bit bigger that it already is...
Huh...
