For the last few months I have been looking forward to the 40s. Chaps not required. Sweatshirt under jacket not required. 20s and 30s suck. I don't think we got to the teens with clear roads this winter. Now I am looking forward to spring and summer. No jacket. Half helmet. Ahhh, now I'm just day dreamin'...

Supposed to snow in Memphis overnight or sometime tomorrow. Garden is officially a month behind schedule courtesy of "global warming" (can't prove it by me)...
And 4 motorcycles, 2 antique bicycles, 2 vintage trucks and a Super Beetle are now pushed even farther back in the to be worked on rotation...

We ended up with 22" total snowfall in a few days time here. It's been trying to melt for the last few days, but highs in the 30's is kinda slow. The streets look pretty good other than the piles melting onto the pavement in places. Suzuki dealer parts order is officially MIA , so had to start over on that, maybe next week I can put bike back together. I have shoveled the whole driveway (it's big), and there is actually some 50's in the forecast for the weekend. Every winter I say "ENOUGH" I'm moving to Texas. It's lookin better all the time.

I thought about it today. High 40's when I woke up.
I'm cautious of the sand and salt still present on the roads, however.

This morning I threw the last piece of wood in the woodshed into the Outdoor Boiler. I have more wood out in another shed - it just has been too wet to haul it through the yard. Tonight I will just have to haul a front end load of firewood to get me through untill the yard either freezes or dries.
The bad weather isn't holding me back any on riding the bike.....it is still in a bunch of pieces getting a new Cafe' outlook on life.
