Does anyone know how many teeth there on the front and rear pulleys and what the drive ratio is?

click on the search tab

enter 'drive ratio'

change the time to 'all'

hit search and about the 10 hit down you'll find your answer.

ooops... it'll be the 11th one now.   Grin

Read this first off and follow the thread links and read them too.

http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1354385243

Asking questions before you have even looked at the INDEX or used SEARCH marks you as a newbie, lazy, second rank -- and you don't want that.

Use the index and SEARCH, then ask intelligent questions about what you read.    Folks tend to want to help you more that way.

The stock sprokets are 23/68.

I can tell ya that 24 is the biggest sprocket that will fit on the front and there ain't no extra room.     I can also tell ya that a 150/90-15 is the biggest tire that will fit in the stock swing arm (axle completely forward).    I've got both on mine and I can tell ya "Ya doin't want to go any taller on the gearing , these added together make about a 19% speedometer error".   That is speedometer indicating 60mph / ground speed is really about 72mph.  Needless to say I doin't go over the indicated 55mph in a 55mph zone.

I'lll go with one size smaller tire next time!

Versey

I've got 12.5" shocks on the back (Like the way it sets),  the axle is about 1/16" from max front positition.

With my weight on it the swingarm is just below level , if I had a longer belt I'd try it  Maby (? 135 ?)

Serowbot  Thanks for the chart !   How do ya find that stuff !...

The tooth count of the kawa belt is 137
ours is 133
that's about 1.1" longer between centers.
I measure about .625 adjustment on the axle, front to back.

yep, 135 would be perfect.
