Depends on how good a job you did.

We've all done this repair, I've done it a few times.
having 2 bikes and assisting on many more.

Do you think the PO has info that we don't?

If you wish an answer only from him, you'll have to address him specifically.

The procedure, followed properly, solves the problem for nearly everyone who does it. I have seen exactly One who had the problem come back.
There was some question about the design of the plug he got, IIRC.
Fail to get the sealer between clean surfaces? Its coming back,

Oh I get it, to get a helpful response I have to address the author.
I will have to remember that.  Thanks for the help!   Grin

I was hoping to get a useful response and did not expect a "depends on how good a job you do".

This was one of my firsts posts on this site and wasn't expecting a ridiculous answer like that.

OF COURSE it depends on good a job you do.  Im a grown man, Im not plugging the hole with chewing gum crossing my fingers here.

Lighten up...
We deal with all sorts here... chewing gum, would not be out of the question...
Grin...

If you think that was a ridiculous answer,.. consider the question...
Would we all be doing this repair if it didn't work?... Huh...
Would we post a "How to" in the Tech section?...

Now,.. get to it!... and welcome to the site...
If you're hanging around,.. expect some joking and ribbing...
We're here for fun... we're not paid servants...
Wink...
