Thats about 1/2 the service life of a typical OEM chain,
If you can get a Verslagen mod on it, you can ride some more. If you know a welder, its not hard to do that part. His tensioners are also modded so they cant come apart, which is a Major plus, but, freight to you may be an issue, I dont  know,,

I wouldnt be too happy about a timing chain with a link in it,,but it sure would make installation a snap,,

When you replaced it, did you replace the rear guide aka tensioner?
A new one will push in the plunger about 3 to 4mm.

thank you guys! my translator is not very well translated into Russian.
in General when I installed the NEW camchain, I measured the output rod tensioner . I had 11мм. now output rod tensioner is 20mm.
Yes I made myself a Verslagen's mod. and now moved the rear Shoe of camchain to a new location . thank you Verslagen for the idea .
Verslagen,-"aka tensioner"-
what is it? I can show you something in the pictures

I have no idea what Verslagen means, but that was his name long before he came up with the idea to weld a tab on the tensioner,.

Sure, man, post some pics up,, its always fun lookin in the guts of someones motor.

now, when I moved aka tensioner on the main site, the engine is a completely different... without the banging and noise.. I just couldn't understand why my engine so much noise? timing chain replaced by the not so long ago(in the beginning of the season)...and I just didn't think that she may be worn out...

now , after I moved to a new place, the output of stem tensioner was about 3-5 mm or rather don't remember...did yesterday late in the evening.
the distance between the branches of a camchain approximately 20-25mm...

Let me try again.

There is the part that the cam chain guide bolts to. It has a tube with ratchet teeth on it & that tube has a spring pushing it out to take the slack out of the chain. From the end of the housing the tube goes into to the end of the machining ON that tube can only be something around 20 mm before it starts being dangerous. ( I Hope I am remembering that correctly. If Im wrong there, someone please set me right)

That picture you were talking about might be a good thing,
