removing wiring harness terminals

How do you get them out of the connectors?

I'm working on the right control switch connector.

Usually, I can jam a needle in one side and they pop off.
But this didn't work this time.

looks like these...

0-14A, Sealed or Unsealed
Wire terminals available for 16 through 22 gauge wire
Used in various GM applications for low-power and sensor connections
Sealed connectors use seals and plugs similar to the Weather Pack style
Sealed connector bodies are visually similar to Weather Pack style
Unsealed connector bodies vary by application
To removal terminals, depress small tang with a small flat tool inserted from the front of the connector and push out

I gave away my right side switches so I can't verify but I was pretty sure it was identical to the left side except it was a black connector vs. yellow. The tab is reached from the pin side, not the wire side, and it's a small plastic tab moulded to the plug itself vs. a tab on the pin.

The tab needs to move in the direction of the arrow to release the pin.

ver,

If you're still struggling with this.....

I can't speak to that particular connector, but sometimes I find it helps, for the problem pin, to push it all the way into the connector shell (by pushing in on its wire), depress the little tang while the pin is still pushed in all the way, then pull said pin out.....

IHTH!

I got them out.  I had to make a tool to get in there.

The problem is the tabs aren't sprung as shown so they're a lot tighter.

A "W" in the Win Loss column is what counts..

I popped a couple out tonite, under the seat. Built a pigtail for a float charger' Hooked into the single red always hot wire & theres a ground in a 3 wire connector. Pigtail hangs out from under the seat & the connector slips under the seat strap, put the matching end on a float charger, now, I just plug it in.. very tidy work up under there.,,

I took a reinforcing stay out of windshield wipers ground it to the correct width and then sharpened it, bent a handle and polished the business end to take the sharpness out of it.

It might be, but it's all black, best I can tell is the separations on the sides of the clip don't exist so it's a lot stiffer.

Pins are exactly the same.
