Clutch Safety, Etc..starting issues

Hey Guys,
Been awhile, hope everyone is doing well. I took a hiatus on my mod project(this winter?)..I found a few posts that deal w/my issue..i've had starting/start button issues for awhile-intermittent contact, I thought it was the button, but after reading posts, i see it may be more likely the clutch safety or other. I have no response to pushing the start button now, new batt...
Is the clutch safety nothing more than the switch on the h/bar? how best to test and or disable? what else should i check for? (I know, i'm a pain in the ...) Wink Once again, thanks in advance!
Keep it safe...errr, well, at least upright!! Wink

To test it,.. unplug at the lever and jumper the two wires together... if that's your problem, and you want to make it permanent,.. and pretty,... pull the tank, find the big connector and trace the wires for it, and solder them together under there...

See reply #165 in the Double RYCA build thread for the method I used on the clutch safety switch.  It's just another alternative.
