Ultimately I want to keep the cone but put a 90 degree elbow in between, probably silicone or PVC. Problem is, battery box is kinda in the way. Anyone done this mod?

I have been trying for weeks to figure out why I cannot get above 65mph. Been rejetting nonstop with little success. Just saw this post and checked out my filter. Was 100% blocking that passage. Hoping this has been my underlying issue. I have a cone filter and a Dyna Exhaust on, and rejected. Couldn’t figure it out. Thanks for the post, I’ll let you know if this solves my issue!

Pull the slide out of the carb and check the  diaphragm for pinholes. If you can see a little speck or two of light shining thru it's toast. That would cause your problem. Free to check.
