putting regulator in air box..quick question.

When relocating the voltage regulator into the airbox, where do you route the wire to it? (Probably a stupid question, but) Do you run the wires to and from it through the air inlet on top of the box?
Also how are you attaching the regulator to the inside of the air box? Double sided tape?
thanks!

Yes, most of us ran the wires through the opening on top. Mine is just sitting in the air box and hasn't caused any problems.

Ditto. Ran the wires through the top of the box. Jammed it into the rear of the box. Tight fit and hasn't moved in a few thousand miles.
