Speedo Cable connetion on motor

Well I searched all the stores in my area and I never could find anything that can be used as a cap for the speedo port.   So I ended up taking my dremel tool and cutting the nut off.  Bought a rubber stopper that fit tight in the nut and cut it about 1/4" thick and pushed it up in there to use as a gasket and to plug off the hole in the nut.  Seems to be working good.  Only put about 30 miles on it so far and no leaks.

Please tell me you did that with the side cover off and you made sure to wash away the grindings that fell into the crankcase...

I cut the speedo cable not the drive gear housing.  Did the cut with the cable totally off the bike.

That looks good and will do the job.

If you get bored with it......you can put a little music box kind of ballerina on there and let her spin around when you go riding!

I have a Trail Tech Vapor on mine.  It uses a magnetic sensor on the front wheel.
