They are only safely rated for 85-90. They'll do a lot more, but it takes some work. Carb tuning, serious weight reduction, lower wind profile (you've got to really tuck down to the tank)...

I've had mine at over 100 mph several times. It takes it, but overall bike life is going to suffer. Oiling is insufficient, cooling is insufficient, brakes are a joke, tires are a joke... They work fine for normal riding, not so much for fast riding.

Pipe tuning, filter, porting, and rejet,.. will get you 34hp/39ftlbs... ... if you're lucky... Maybe, 95mph... Redline is at 97mph... with stock gearing... .
