Wonder how it would look with a luggage rack over the top of it?

I want to go this route also just need something to strap my lunch and hard hat to on the way to work  Cheesy

Don't know. But you can always just wear your hardhat and put your lunch in a duffel bag over your shoulder!

Look under The Projects section, I have a picture of my '01 Savage where I took a stock rear fender, removed the rear seat and tail light, welded holes shut for tail light and rectifier, pounded round the flat where the rectifier was, then put on a luggage rack,  I find it works great to strap on my lunch box/etc when I ride to work

And I would lose my hard hat before I hit 70  Grin and I do put my lunch in a backpack right now, Hard hat gets bungee netted to the rear seat.
