Bought Wrong Saddlebag Supports (Read 151 times)

Posts: 15	Bought Wrong Saddlebag Supports 06/13/12 at 21:33:45 I bought OEM saddlebag supports part # 990A0-75036 for my 2003 Savage but they are the wrong ones. They fit the newer Boulevard S40. Hole spacing too narrow for 2003. Does anyone know the correct part number for the supports for my bike? Thanks.

The S40 mounts via the front rail bolt and a bolt in the middle of the rail... Maybe the Savage doesn't have that middle bolt in it... Looks like this when it's on though: I don't have the part number of the older ones... I found my sets that I had off EBay.

The rails were a bit different but all the holes were in the same place. You must be trying to use the wrong holes, or they sent you the supports from a different bike.

if you are sure they fit the S40, i am looking for some, pm if you can and i will try and take them off your hands.

15 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. 07 S40, Black, stock, Slipstreamer shield, Saddleman bags, Routy FC's, Sissy Bar.....love this bike.
