As loud as the Jardine is ya wouldn't think so.  In fact it's a bit to loud for my taste.  I have one on my little savage and I've been giving some serious thought to finding something else to put on it.

I wouldn't mind being a little louder...if you decide to take it off, give me a shout if you don't mind, I might want to give it a try.  I like the rumble from the drilled stock exhaust (and don't mind the looks either)...don't particularly like the VW Beetle-ish "ping" that comes (apparently) from the baffles in the stock exhaust though.

Cheers,
Dave

so, i got it removed and its so loud i think it's quite possilbe i will be given a ticket, but part of me thinks that I should leave it for a while like this, until somebody complains about it.

as far is it sounds...super deep in idle (need to mess with mixture screw still). When I pulled the throttle is just got louder. Put a smile on my face.

i know the jardine exhaust is not suppose to have a removable baffle. but there are two pins on the back side remove those and then shove the baffle out from the back end. you just can't ever get the baffle back in it.

I will try to post a video of it on youtube. so u guys can hear it

Hey,  I just bought an S83 with Jardines...PO removed the bafles.  I called them today, they said that they will sell me a set for $50 for the pair.    ANother option is the Smartpartz Hard Core baffle.

Rivet Failure.

I removed the glass packing and did the mod to the baffle and blew the baffle out a couple times on failing rivets.
I now have 1 steel rivet and one screw with Lock Nut.
Working so far.

My Bike runs like crap without baffle and is insanely loud!

Mod for Jardine:
