Adding a water bottle... (part deux)...

I've had the bottle holder up by the tank for years,... but, my new insulated bottle is a bit tall and interferes slightly with full lock right turn...
... so,...
Can you have too many water bottles in Tucson in the summer?...
106' today... Huh...

I've got a water bottle gadget that has a hose with a little sprayer on the end.   You can use to drink from or spray the front of your shirt.   Riding in the southwest during the summer the wet shirt don't last long, but for a few brief moments it sure feels good.

Aren't these just the most awesome-est cups you have ever drank from?  My son bought my husband one for Christmas a couple of years ago and he uses it daily for his coffee.  Keeps coffee hot for like 4-5 hours!  Supposed to work the same for keeping stuff cold too, but we haven't tried that out.  Worst part about them is cleaning the lid, but I ordered 2 new lids from their website (like $7 each Ouch!) but still worth every penny, in hubby's opinion.  Worth it to me because I don't have to keep buying mugs every other week, or washing 10 at a time when he brings them all home from the shop!

His favorite thing to do with it, is try to scare me on Saturdays morning by dropping it on the bed on me.  It took me a few times to NOT jump!  But they do NOT spill!

Bot, I added a bottle where you have the blue one.  EXCELLENT IDEA!  Why did I wait so long to do it?  I am nominating that as your best post!  Cheesy

I don't imagine sticking a plastic soda bottle in there would be a good idea...

If you're referring to muffler heat... surprisingly,.. it don't get hot there...
I have had plastic water bottles on there for 200 mile rides...

My new, bigger better bottle has a plastic insulator sheath on the outside... (the one pictured on the bottom mount)(I moved it up top)...

No melty...  it's about 2 1/2" clearance... I was worried about it at first, but I've had various bottles on there for 20k miles now... always a bottle on it...
Who'd a thunked?... Huh...

PS,.. Greg... don't criticize this one... It's the best post I ever did... Grin...
