i have a metric set of "cruz tools" used them once on the raod when i had to replace the battery.come in a pouch would fit in a fork bag..
ive loaned out more than ive used away from the homestead..

I use my Savage (see my signature block) pretty much exclusively for an around town use.
The only tools I carry with me are the ones that come in the OEM tool kit....with one exception. I found, a while back, that one could not remove the seat using just those tools(!).

Spare fuses, bulbs and oil. Screwdrivers, including a small one that fits the air screw. Electrical tape. 1/4" drive socket set. Money. Small can of fix-a-flat (yes you can use it in tubed tires). Pliers with dipped handles (you can dip the stock set, but the tool is still junk). Spark plug and socket. Real combination wrenches. Set of spoke wrenches (Kawasaki).
Except for the oil and fix-a-flat it all fits in the fork mounted tool roll.
