First weekend and first 100miles

Found out 65-70 makes my but numb and feet tingle  Cheesy, mesh riding pants and hot pipes don't mix  Angry killed a brand new pair of hooligan riding pants. And I see why so many people do the seat mod to raise the front so you don't feel like your sliding foward.

now the wierd, the fuel cut out on me around the 60 mile mark I had filled up before my first leg out (about 1 gallon to the bottom of the fill neck tube) and about 10 miles into the ride back I hit the throttle and sputter sputter blech  Tongue. Flip it to prime hit the starter twice filp to reserve and hit it a few more times and boom it starts back up, another 2 miles and within site of the gas station it started sputtering again, I ease off throttle and slow down to about 45 and it runs fine to get me to the gas station.

Only took 1.36 gallons to fill up again  Huh  so either I'm not filling my tank properly, something is clogging the bottom part of the petcock filter, or my filler cap vent is stuck closed and I'm pulling a vacuum on my tank that is screwing with my fuel flow about halfway through.

anythoughts???

It was a fun ride even with the fuel cutting out on me.

Check the vacuum line that goes carb to petcock... it's probably sucking some air...
Wink...
