I've also been thinking about moving my pegs back to a standard bike position.  I purchased left and right pegs, plates, splined lever, brake pedal etc. from a guy parting out a LS40. I plan to rework them so that they will fit roughly where Skeebo has his.  I haven't even started to think out the details yet.  I would like to see pictures showing the details of how Skeebo mounted his.

If it doesn't work out the original ones will go back on.  To be comfortable the seat height will probably need to be higher.

My plan of attack moves the control yoke assembly to Mid. Pegs, side stand and gear lever work as normal. If it doesn't work I can put everything back, But I'm diggin it to much now.

Skeebo - How does the positioning of your controls compare to the Ryca "rear" controls?

How did you mount yours?

I'm using the rear/lower motor mount bolt to locate the control yoke instead of the front /lower motor mount. This moves everything mid and at the same ride height. The advantage is it's quick and easy but your foot peg location is locked in, not much you can do for adjustment.

I know it's tacky using the smog canister brkt. but it was a ready made deal and the goal is to do this quick and see if I like it. The stock brake lever pivot will be perfect I'll rework the arm to undersling the exhaust, straight rod to the rear drum from here.

It looks pretty close to the tire, theres actually about an inch and a half clearance.....the brake rod passes between the tire and muffler.

Thanks...I've been wanting to do this for a while. My son will be home in a few days and we'll take some pics of us in riding position.
