Leftover hand control part?? wtf?
04/13/12 at 20:00:05
So I just installed some new bars, and when I was done I found 2 of these where my grips were.. all of the electrics seem to working right but I don't even know where these things came from... anyone have any idea? Maybe something from inside the hand controls?

Bike runs and works fine? Maybe it just doesn't matter... After all, you were trying to reduce weight, right?

You'd think one of us bozos would know, wouldn't ya'?..
Sorry I'm not more help,.. but, I sure ain't tearin' mine apart to find it...
I'd just save the part, n' try out the bike... see if anything don't work...
(..it might end up being the zipper pull off yer' khaki's)...

Have you checked a shop manual or Clymers or similar for a blowup diagram of the region you were working on?
