Oil filter PN?

Must be doing something wrong with my archive searches, because I keep getting "Sorry, no matches were found"

Could someone please provide the part number for the oil filter...and filter cover o-ring? Or any other parts I may need during a typical service? Just about decided to do my own service on the bike after reading all the dealership horror stories. I earned a living by working on cars for the past 30 years, just not too familiar with motorcycles. Yet.

KN filter is a KN-137. I get mine at the dealer.
Go to Ron Ayers or Bike Bandit and enter bike specific info, you should be able to find all that you need.

Oil Filter. Suzuki part # 16510-37450. About $5-6. Careful to put it back in the right way round or new motor will be needed. Smiley

Yeah I'll probably stick with the Suzuki parts while under warranty...and 10w40 MC Amsoil, then maybe the 20w-50 after that.

So I'm planning on heading over to Canadian Tire this afternoon and picking up a filter and some oil to do a change after work today. Anyone have any recommendation on filters that are carried there? I'm not going to bring up oil. That's between me and Nessy.

Now you don't need to search, just go down the headings to what you are looking for and pick the thread that does her for you.
