I really like the 2 tone silver with red pinstriping  Smiley

Couple of notable variations you did...mounted the ingition switch down on the side, not on the tank area (I think that's where RYCA moved it to), used the stock risers & looks like maybe the stock drag bars as well rather than clubmans or clipons like others.

Looks like you've got a couple hundred miles on the odo so far; so, what do you think of the change in riding position and performance?  Huh

Thanks for the kind words. When thinking of a cafe racer concept , I am not a purist... too old!. I will atempt to post more updated pictures soon, as these were taken last summer when I also forwarded them to RYCA. They wanted to know if the decompression sol worked, of course it does.  I have added some changes since then. The wheel/spoke pictures are actually before and after shots. The bowed spokes were from the RYCA wheel and the straight ones are after my rework of the wheel. You can also see the properly seated spoke nipples and the unseated ones related to the bowed spokes. The handlebars are stock however I cut down the risers. I was asked about the riding position. I am 5ft. 7 in. and it suits me fine I consider it to be more comfortable. My reference to one post I made should have been (my problems with ryca build). Have Fun.   Jerry

I didnt check the After photo, I didnt see it, Ill bet that was a hassle, glad you won it. I guess now Ive gotta go look at the wheel to see how much you had to do to it to get the nipples aimed right,.
Hmm,, sounds like something you'd hear in a plastic surgeons office.

"Hey, Ralph, how you gonna get them nipples pointin the right direction?"

Nice job.  Was that wheel with the messed up lacing job what Ryca sent to you?  Anyway the bike looks great.  The airplanes aren't too shabby either.

Don't use the ftp link icon just paste your link in.  no one can get access to your ftp site this way.

if there is a particular pic you want to show, open it up in the browser, right click on the image, properties, copy the address and paste it in between the image icon brackets
