Check the tank vent in the gas cap.

I kinda agree with Arnold. It could be you got water in the fuel, which would do the above stuff. You can always empty the bowl on the carb into a glass and see if it separates. Check battery connections, and make sure the spark plug area isn't getting wet and the rectifier is doing ok.

Most likely fuel related though!

Suzuki says "1/2 turn past snug or finger tight," for a new plug and 1/4 turn for a used plug.
The service manual says squat. Grin

Do you squat with the bike on the sidestand, or does the bike have to be vertical?
