Hardtail For Suzuki Savage

Does anybody know if I can get a bolt on hardtail for a Savage bobber project I have going on .I've seen them for some of the older XS Yamaha and Sportsters.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Mike

There isn't a wide variety for savages like there is for yamahas or harleys. You can make your own bolt struts in place of shocks, or buy a set on eBay. If you're talking full in rigid frame, the only vendor I know of that sells them is voodoovintage.com

Thanks for the reply.I was wondering if anybody made a bolt on hardtail to give the bike a little more stretch.

One member LS-Rich stretched his quite a ways. It requires going to a chain as well, but his has turned out well.

This one is stretched, but still has shocks. Someone on here did a hardtail mod. I remember thinking, "that's gotta be hard on the ass bone." Can't remember who, though. Maybe a hardtail search would turn up better results?

These guys make a complete hardtail frame minus the neck so that you retain your VIN.
