Larger front fender.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a larger front fender.
I don't like the look of the stock fender,( I would like something more retro) and I want the front of the bike to have more protection from mud and dirt.
Any ideas?

If I recall WD's bike might have what you are looking for. I'd ask him.

I don't have a picture of my bike, but I am working on a high fender set up on my savage scrambler build.  I plan to use my stock front fender after modifying it a bit.  Here is the idea...

This may not be what you are looking for...but I thought I would throw it out there...good luck!

I do have full fenders on both my Savages. Look in J&P cycles catalog for fenders that are not pre-drilled so you can drill the mounting points to fit your forks. !st one on the Yellow bike in the picture is their old number 13-200 which is off shore metal needs to have the HD holes welded shut and then new ones drilled. Also I had the back coated with that lumpy stuff so water would not work through as the seams between the sides and crown are riveted. 2n one on the sidear rig I got off CL from a gal in Tacoma but I', pretty sure it fits the same bikes is plastic and not pre-drilled. As it is plastic I have a fender brace on that one. The OE fender is reinforced so serve as a sorta fender brace. Application was DWG and others with about 5 1/2 " between the forks as I recall. I measured the distance and then went to non hostile HD guy and we measured HD forks until we knew which one was correct. I used some Alum plate to provide some extra support on the plastic one. Drop me an E-mail if you want a picture of the some what smaller plastic one. Put fender pic in subject so it doesn't get junked. Max
