Crazy little 250cc Bobber. The motor is Chinese. I don't know about the rest of the bike or parts. But it does capture that old school look. Not sure of any other companies selling new old school bobbers like this?

Would be cool if there was an American company building inexpensive bobbers like this. ( I mean, actually made in the US ). Or even Suzuki could hatch a 650cc bobber from their Savage parts.

Personally, I look forward to customizing my s40. I doubt I'd ever buy one but I do think they did a good job with this little chinese thumper. Some nice styling for the small price.

Plenty of people here have made kick ass bobbers. Search if you wanna see em. And there are a lot of companies nation wide that make 250cc bobber kits or the finished bike itself

They are cheap toy class and I'm sure they don't last for anything. But I still think they did a decent job with the look their toy bobber - although the engine is way too tiny.

dunno, this bike is pricey.

Chinese LIFAN motors and motorcycles, are seriously
really really good (worked on many at my old job as
a motorcycle mechanic), so are KYMCO products and
BAJAJ (from india), but other than those 3 I wouldn't
ever buy anything not japanese or european.

Your best bet for a toy like that is to buy a used
250 honda shadow or yamaha SR or even an
old savage or whatever and strip it, spray it,
polish it, pimp it with dice and your done.

When they launched it though and I saw the ridiculous prices I was depressed. Those aren't blue collar proces to me, those are over inflated rip off prices.

Doesn't seem like much in the custom motorcycle parts world is cheap.

All my shopping is fairly depressing. Occasionally I find some deals on things that seem like fair prices.

Seeing crazy prices for little things like risers, mirrors, seats, fenders, lighting parts and so on, yeah, it's frustrating.

The price for the Ryca conversion is very very expensive too, imho. But they are fabricating a custom tank, and converting that rear wheel. But it still seems a bit steep to me. I guess it's relative to demand.

FWIW, I thought I read that those ARE LIFAN motors in those bikes. The warranty sucks on them and they nickel and dime you on shipping & options, but they look like a fun little commute bike. Cool idea, but I wouldn't burn 2k+ to find out if they are any good.

Kikker5150 uses lifan on the 150 & 250cc models. As I said, anyones best bet is to make your own out of a cheap mid-size jap-bike from craigslist.
