Right now I've got 2 types to try, a Screamin' Eagle slash cut and one off a 2008 Softtail FXSTC...Not too sure if the FXSTC will be a direct bolt-on replacement, going to have to check the mounting holes again, but they looked to be pretty close.

+1 idle too slow.

when the head is cold, you have plenty of pressure at idle. I had a gage on the pressure port and it went up to 50 psi when cold, then dropped to 5 when hot. so you need volume or different head bearings.

I have not found a pic of the back of the clutch ass'y yet so I assume it drives the oil pump gaer. I wonder if it would be possible to change the gear ratio (larger on the clutch, smaller on the oil pump) to make it run faster?
