Just bought a 2004 Savage, with 7K miles; drained and cleaned tank and filled with hi-octane. When I take it on Interstate and get it up to 75 mph for a few minutes, it will all of a sudden lose power, dropping to 40-45 mph--I don't have a tach. At least once, it has completely died. My next move is to rebuild the carb. Could it be anything else?
