Well, here she be.....

Finally got my Sav on the road.

Full on.

Skinny....

Even from the back!

My "Oil Tank" electrical box and hacked up OEM battery tray.

Things I'm sold on: the old Magna front fender on the back, the electrical oil tank and ignition, Bilwell (Edit: Biltwell, with a T.  Stupid spelling..... Angry ) Frisco bars, and the tailight and tag bracket.
Things I'm not sold on: The rear fender struts, the rear signal mounts, the OEM mirrors, and the battery tray.

Ya, I am interested in the air filter. Would not mind giving that a try.
And you must have attached the rear fender to the lower part of the frame? That way you can get it as close to your tire as possible without it ever hitting the tire because of shocks. Is that correct?

Just curious, I noticed that you covered your licence plate # for the picture. Why do people do that? Is there some kind of security risk from people knowing your licence #? Just wondering.

Lotsa reasons.
-- The number can be photoshopped easily into photos of other situations,.. crime scenes, accidents, investigations, ads, etc.  Yes, someone could just make the number up, but when yours is visible, the bad guy knows it is a valid number.
-- In most states, it is easy to get name and address from the plate number.  Doesn't seem like a very big deal, until someone with evil intentions has that info.
-- Someone could get a fake license plate with your number on it (you can get ANYTHING online), put it on their car, and do bad stuff ranging from running red lights with traffic cams, getaway car, illicit meetings with nasty women, stolen car, etc.
-- I'm sure I have only scratched the surface here.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you!!

I suppose you are right but couldn't someone do the same things with your bike sitting in a parking lot or in your driveway? your licence plate # is out there for all to see.

Youve done so much to make it look light & trim,, & its lookin good, too. I think if you could find a decent heat shield to replace the stock one & slipped a Dyna muffler on it, you be really tickled with the look AND the sound..
The down side is, you will get a bit of a power bump,, ohh blast,, thats just a shame, innit? Might hafta rejet, too..
