Sold on the big crank!

Is that the one that batteries plus carries?

I called them, the young man said

In stock
70 something plus tax
.5 in taller or wider
1/10th taller or wider

I have bad memory!

He didn't say the "brand"

I had the original stock battery for 6 years. It ran beautifully and still did but I opted to replace it just because it was so old.

I always keep the electrolite at the right level, remove the battery after every season and keep it on a tender in a heated basement until spring.

Maby mine was an exception, but with proper care they seem to last a long time.

If you had the original battery for five years, why would you want to change? The Yuasa original replacement can be had for around $60. Just my opinion.

No doubt Yuasa's are great batteries.
But if you can get a AGM, no maintenance battery for the same price, why wouldn't you?

ANOTHER question:

what specs am i looking when selecting a battery.

this link
http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1259644714

replaces the stock batter with a smaller one more than half original size, with that comes loss of CCA and Ah.

how important is it to maintain these specs?
