Well I put it all back together and it sealed up okay then I realized that I forgot to flip the clutch cable connection at the cover. Woo hoo took everything off and put it back together again haha.




Yea, I di that too, but I decide on bendin the clip & makin it flip up,,not pullin the cover,, Skrue Thayutt!

I figured that with my luck I would crack the case if I tried to bend it up haha. There was a lot of gas in the oil for a very long time before I bought the bike so I'm guessing/hoping that's what did it. I do hear some valve noise at high rpms though.

Verslagen came up with a neat trick for when you get your clip oriented wrong -- take a large adjustable wrench and grasp the chrome clutch lever down at the case and move it up in its normal pathway until the clip has clearance to reverse position -- elegant trick that, saves a gasket / teardown.
