I have a LS400 motor and have problems with finding gaskets here in Sweden. Any tips? had been a lot simpler task with a 650 engine

Since the LS400 never sold in the US I doubt we Yanks would be much help. You might need to find a source in Japan.

Try calling a motorcycle parts store they might have those machines that can cut gaskets by the specs that you need.

I think you'll have to go to New Zealand for the LS400

This guy makes copper head and base gaskets. He's making one for me right now to work with my bore job. Maybe he can do them for the LS400.

There are complete LS650 gasket sets available on eBay -- at least the US version. I don't know how many LS650 gaskets work on an LS400, but it's better than nothing, I suppose.

What's to work out? The big bore gasket? You can go to CopperGaskets yourself and avoid the middle man..

My cousin had a GN400 here in the states if I'm not mistaken. Can't remember how many cylinders, but I believe one. Worth a shot looking up?

check the bore sizes between the 400 and 650 I think the 400 was a destroked 650 but it has been a while. If the bore is the same I think the gasket would work unless there is a thickness issue. max

Blackbetty, Helmark Buss Import AB in Markaryd or Pergonova AB in Sunne may be able to help. As stated, we in the US don't have access to what you need, but an E-mail to Wiseco Piston Company might help. They do some gasket sets and are used to looking at correlating sizes without using specific Vehicle model number. Good luck.
