Posts: 2	Re: LS 400 Reply #3 - 03/24/11 at 13:33:12 thanx for the info its better to buy a 650 but thats not an easy thing to do here. have a ridgid frame that Im gona use maybe the 400 block is the same as the 650.Then I can use the 400 motor until I find a 650. Less is more!!!!!

This guy makes copper head and base gaskets. He's making one for me right now to work with my bore job. Maybe he can do them for the LS400.

There are complete LS650 gasket sets available on eBay -- at least the US version. I don't know how many LS650 gaskets work on an LS400, but it's better than nothing, I suppose.

If the bore is the same I think the gasket would work unless there is a thickness issue. max

As stated, we in the US don't have access to what you need, but an E-mail to Wiseco Piston Company might help. They do some gasket sets and are used to looking at correlating sizes without using specific Vehicle model number. Good luck.
