The reason the guy did that was because Nortons handle way better than vincents,I did speak to the guy at the show ,and that was the reason he gave.

I love bike porn!
The first time I ever did "the ton" was on a friends CB77 that had been bored out to 350cc. Oops! Giving my age away. Grin

My first brand new motorcycle was one like this one, a 1974 CB350. I was 20 years old. The speedo said it would do the ton down a real steep hill   LOL

only 20 years old,Wow I'm amazed you can remember that far back, Wink
Was that little honda a twin ? My first was a 1937 250cc Rudge, and that was before duct tape,Generally we used coat hanger wire to hold them all together.Nowdays I never go anywhere without duct tape, and a pair of old panty hose, they make a great fan belt if you get stuck. And To this day I will never turn the radio on, I want to listen to the engine .
Shows you how bad some of the crap I drove and rode.
They don't make cars like they used to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, thank God !

My Dad bought me and my brothers a used Honda Mini Trail when I was 9. Later came a used Trail 70 and a CB125. The CB350 was my first new motorcycle that was all mine. Yes it is a twin. Wont ever forget it  Wink

Hey, Mick -

I always knew you had your good points <g>.  I hardly ever turn on the radio, unless I'm in city traffic, and then only to hear the news or weather, then turn it off.

Whenever some car salesman starts yapping about how great the "sound system" is in a car, I ask him what he means - the engine sounds?

I drive once a year from Ohio to central Wisconsin, and never turn the blasted thing on.

Much to your delight, I'm sure, I do break that rule at Christmas time - my wife got me a CD of Christmas songs by the old Rat Pack guys, so I'm listening to that this week.

One of my regrets in life is that I didn't go to Vegas in my youth to see the Rat Pack.  Another thing I find hard to believe as I get older is that all of those great performers like Sinatra, Dean Martin, Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, etc. are all dead.
