Yes, Mike knows... it's an Edelbrock Q/S II.   I mounted the Edelbrock because I had one on hand at the time.  I had sold the last Mikuni VM during the extended rebuild with the intension of getting another but just have not done so yet.  The cost of the VM with UFO and DAJ is not in the budget right now.

The photo does show a dual disc front wheel(discs are the same size)  but with just one caliper on the left side.  I now have a set of front tubes with dual calipers which will be installed before long.  The front end is a Suzuki GS650/550 setup

By the way, Verslagen was hugely responsible for getting it together this past summer when he came out for the Dragon ride, especially for getting the wiring harness back together with mod's.  He is a great guy.

I got one for a c note, but it didn't come with the right vacuum port and leaked a bit.  need to rebuild it.  See lancer for all your high performance carbs.  I think an Amal would be a good buy.

Mick, you might try over here on the north side of the river.  Last time I was in ProCaliber, they had one or two Savages (S40's Tongue) left; of course that was a couple months ago too. Undecided

Oldnewguy,

I bought them from J&P Cycles.  They are actually a 3/4 length board, but seem to work fine.  I really like them.  Because they are basically for a Harley, you have to drill out the mounting hole slightly, and do a little shimming, but it is nothing major.
